- System Design: Once the requirements are complete, next step is to create software architecture and its document.
- Implementation: After the completion of software architecture, actual development of software starts which result small programs called units/modules.
- Integration and system testing: Once the software units/modules are completed and tested, next step is to integrate all units. After integration of units, full cycle of testing is performed.
- Installation/ Deployment: Once all the functional and non-functional testing is done, software will be deployed in the customer environment.
- Maintenance: These will be some of the issues which came up in the client environment. Once the issues are identified, fixes will be done and patches will be released.
